Hoarding Clearances

Many years of experience working in the 'hoarding' field have revealed many reasons for individuals becoming hoarders. Sometimes it can simply be the accumulative effect of collecting unwanted items, other times as a result of cognitive impairment or phycological illness.

Whatever the reason within the spectrum of possible causes, a sensitive attitude is needed at all times to broach the problem and initiate a response. This is why the first consultation should be conducted in the home of the client/tenant.

An informal chat with a friendly face helps to establish trust, thereby smoothing the way towards tackling the issues contravening their tenancy agreement and, perhaps, their general well-being and those in close proximity, be they loved ones and relatives or other tenants.

Garden Clearances

If you are an estate agent or probate lawyer, our friendly team can work with you to arrange the clearance of the garden and outdoor spaces of any property on your books.

When your outdoor space is overgrown, cluttered, or in need of a complete refresh, garden clearance can restore order and make your garden enjoyable again. From clearing garden waste to tackling dense vegetation, we’re here to help you get your garden back in shape.

At Wildwood Clearance services, we offer a comprehensive range of garden clearance services across Sussex & Surrey to suit various needs and preferences. Our expert team is equipped to handle everything from small garden tidy-ups to large-scale clearances, ensuring your outdoor space is restored and ready for your next gardening project.

Japanese Knotweed Clearances (INNS)

As well as Japanese Knotweed, we can manage and eradicate all plant species contained in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Section 14 Schedule 9. This includes other invasive plants. Under the act, it is illegal to plant or otherwise cause to grow in the wild any plant listed in Schedule 9.

There are a large number of non-native as well as native plants which are known to be invasive. The introduction of some plants from abroad that have proven highly invasive in the UK threatens natural habitats and native species. By containing these plants and disposing of unwanted plants and weeds correctly, we can help reduce the spread of invasive non-native species.

Other species of invasive plants in the UK include:

  • Giant hogweed
  • Himalayan balsam
  • Mare’s/Horse Tail
  • Montbretia
  • Cotoneaster
